Students are working hard in their 'Daily Five' centres during our Language block each day. 

The focus is reading independently, reading with a partner, Raz-Kids on the chromebooks, making words and journal writing.

In Language, we are using illustrations and our Go Chart to help us retell the story "The Wolf Who Cried Boy" in sequence, from beginning to end.

After your child reads a story, ask them to retell the story orally. What happen at the beginning? (Who are the main characters? , What is the setting? , Is there a problem in the story? )

Then, ask them to describe at the main events in the story. Finally, what happen at the end? How was the problem solved.
