CHRISTMAS TAGS

The grade 2's made Christmas tags for the less fortunate. 

The tags include a Christmas wish along with

a Christmas joke. 

They will be delivered to the Shepherds of Good Hope before Christmas.

Way to go Grade 2's. A great way to show FAITH!!

Reminders for our Christmas Concert tomorrow Please have your child wear a dark bottom and white top if possible. They are also welcome to wear a festive hat.

Working with Mrs. Aubrey on our Math Up program. 

I have sent home the math sheet we worked on today. Please take a moment and discuss it with your kids. You may want to find some example of short, medium and long measurements at home. Have your child explain what benchmark they used to help them (e.g., the width of my finger is about 1cm, or the length of my finger to thumb is about 10 cm, or if I open up my arms then 1m is about from one wrist to another). The worksheets could be kept at home.

    

St. Rita School is proud to announce its continued involvement in the Angel Tree initiative.  The angels on the tree support students from our school exclusively. If your family is interested in participating in this worthy cause, please instruct your child to take an angel off the tree. The angels are organized by gender and age for those who already have a special gift in mind. We ask that the gifts be returned back to the school by Friday December 13th. Please wrap the gift and return the angel attached to the gift. Thank you for your support during this blessed Christmas season.
